This year's Christmas program for church turned out well!
WOOHOO!!!!
God's glory was seen, people were reminded of why Christmas is important, and we had some fun too.
The ladies of the church provided coffee and desserts after the service so we had a nice time of fellowship.
We had guests from the community come in as well. Oh...I hope they really heard the message of God's love. :)
All the stress and worry and bother was, I think, worth it all.
Comments heard "I liked it", "it went well", "it was meaningful", "too many songs"(this from the organist), "just the right amount of songs, we like to sing", "it was well done", "loved the pastor's story", "I liked the message in it" and so forth.
We had a good age range in participants. Some people just volunteered, a couple needed to be asked, but ah...things went well. :) Even though I did hear that one of the girls wanted her mom to do her part because she was tired from working all day. :)
We had a soloist.
We had a guitar player accompanying the pianist and it went well! Yea for young talent.
Both hubbie and my voices held out for the program! That was a total answer to prayer.
Our boyo fell asleep in the trusted arms of a congregation member. YEA for that. Also an answer to prayer.
