Last night we were at a dinner for a couple from our church. It was his 90th birthday and the whole family and some friends gathered to give hearty congratulations.
Our boyo had a blast. There were kids his age and some a bit older. He played, he laughed, he followed, and he learned new tricks.
We have a couple of stairs from one short landing to the next. A couple of 3 and 5 year old boys discovered how much fun it was to run and jump down them. The 3 year old would often fake falling when he landed, and would just howl with delight. An older boy supervised them, and kept our boyo out of their way.
After they left, our boyo just had a hoot! He would climb up the stairs, turn in a circle, and then climb down as quickly as he could, and then throw himself onto the floor and just laugh away to beat the band. It was so funny to watch him. Not old enough to jump, but certainly old enough to try! :)
Ah...he's becoming such a rough and tumble boy already......
