The other day my boyo listened to me really well. I asked him to do something and he followed through.
I exclaimed to my hubbie...."oh, I just love it when he listens to me".
Followed by... "but I know, I shouldn't enjoy it so much."
He stopped my heart in it's tracks when he responded "why not? God loves it when we listen to him and obey him" (or something along those lines).
Hmm.... made me stop and think.
Funny how parenting can point out the heart of God to a person. :)
I take so much joy out of my boyo listening to me. Makes me think of just how much joy God must take in me listening and obeying him. A good thing to think on.
