Well, that was pleasant

Well, that was pleasant.

Jen from joythruChrist has been struggling with work and health issues for a while now.

She's been on my mind a lot this week so I thought to myself, why not give her a call.

NOTE: I do not personally know this lady (as in we've never actually met).

I just know her from her blog (solid Christian lady with a good mind and good heart).
AND the fact that she sent my boy a Thomas the train book (just because she could) AND she gave him a DVD that she won (she entered it just for him). (Who wouldn't like someone who did things like that! -- shows a kindness of heart) :)

Anyways, I had her address...even if it took me 1/2 an hour to find it. :)
Used yellowpages.com and gave her a doodle.

Answering machine.... well that was a bummer!
Thought to call her back later in the afternoon.... answering machine again.

To my surprise, within 10 minutes of that.... Jen graciously called me back.
We had a lovely conversation.

I learned more about what's going on. She learned about what's going in my life.
It was like talking with a best friend that I have known for ages.

Rather pleasant I thought. Rather quite very.
